Enig’matik welcomes the Japanese artist Notuv the the collective, the first of which we hope will be many appearances from the thriving Japanese underground glitch scene whose production traits have long intrigued us, their use of intricate editing and experimentation with various noise processing techniques contrast perfectly with deep journey encompassed atmospherics and makes for some very nice listening indeed.
with Fucertc, Notuv explores a minimalistic 2-Step vibe, with a array of tight gating and foley drenched percussional chops, he carefully unravels new sonic fragments as each measure unwinds. Smooth vibes and Atmos carefully contrast with tight knit grooves throughout to ensure a definitive addition to those sunrise, thought provoking mixtapes of old.
